The UPTET 2021 or the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 is an examination held every year within/throughout Uttar Pradesh. This UPTET exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).
This examination aims to recruit primary teachers for classes 1-5 and upper primary teachers for classes 6-8 in the schools of the schools of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The UPBEB had released a notification alert on the 27th of September regarding the UPTET 2021 Examinations. As per the notification, the UPBEB had given the schedule of the examination in the notification.
It is mentioned in the notification that UPBEB will release the UPTET 2021 Notification pdf on the 4th of October 2021 to examine the teacher’s eligibility test.
The complete details regarding the UPTET examinations will be out by the 4th of October 2021.
Every year this examination is held in the state of Uttar Pradesh and managed by the UPBEB. Every year over 16 lakh candidates apply for this UPTET examination.
The application form will be made available on the official website of UPBEB after 4th October 2021.

Eligiblity criteria for UPTET Examination 2021

UPTET Educational Qualification
UPTET Eligibility for Paper 1-Primary level Teachers
- The candidate must have a graduate degree from a recognized institution.
- The candidate must have at least 50%marks in graduation.
- The candidates must also have at least 50% marks in their 12th.
UPTET Eligibility for Paper 2-Upper Primary level Teachers
- The candidate must have graduate degree from a recognised institution.
- The candidate must have atleast 50%marks in graduation.
- The candidates must also have at least 50% marks in their 12th.
Age Limit
The age limit of the candidate must be between 18 to 35 years to apply for UPTET Examination.
UPTET 2021 Selection Process
The selection process for this UPTET 2021 exam is as follows-
Step 1- the UPTET examination contains two papers Paper 1 and Paper 2 for different levels of teachers, the applicants have to sit for the written exam.
Step 2-the selection is totally based upon the written exam, the results will be declared on the official website of UPBEB.
Step 3- A qualifying certificate in the name of the candidate issued by the UPBEB.
