Recently the Uttar Pradesh Government has launched a Pension Scheme for the Sadhu Community of the State of Uttar Pradesh, and the CM Yogi Adityanath launches this Scheme. Under this scheme, the Sadhus will get a monthly pension from the Uttar Pradesh Government.
The State Cabinet approved this policy of Pension Program; personally, the State Chief Minister organized high-level cabinet meetings and special camps to provide this Sadhu Pension Yojana among them.
This Sadhu Pension Yojana Scheme includes all Saints and sadhus who are nomadic or homeless, and this scheme also aims to create a Special Category for the elderly Sadhus.
This scheme is very much beneficial for the Sadhus of the State of Uttar Pradesh.
This scheme was launched to provide support and assistance to the Sadhus; with this scheme, the Beneficiary Sadhus will get about 900-1000 rupees per month as a pension/stipend; under this Sadhu Pension Yojana 2021, all sadhus who are above the age of 60 will get the benefits of the scheme.

Eligibility to apply for Uttar Pradesh Sadhu Pension Yojana
If a sadhu wants to enroll himself under this Uttar Pradesh pension Yojana, then he must fulfill the following conditions-
- The Sadhu must be a citizen of India
- The Sadhu must be a citizen of the state of Uttar Pradesh.
- The Sadhu must be of the age of 60 years or above.
